A flavorful marinade for chicken and steak that enhances the taste and tenderness of the meat.
Ingredients

- 3–4 pieces boneless chicken breasts
- 1 lb beef steak (ribeye or sirloin)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, minced garlic, dried oregano, smoked paprika, olive oil, and black pepper. Whisk until well blended.
- Add chicken breasts and steak to the bowl; coat them thoroughly in the marinade.
- Cover with plastic wrap or transfer to a resealable bag. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour (overnight is recommended).
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes per side and steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Allow cooked meat to rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.

- This marinade can be prepared a day in advance for enhanced flavor.
