Description

Delicious and easy-to-make peanut butter oat bars with chocolate chips.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup honey or maple syrup
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the peanut butter and honey/maple syrup together in 20-second intervals until smooth.
  3. Stir in oats, salt, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and press evenly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown around the edges.
  7. Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.
