Delicious garlic soy chicken marinated to perfection and cooked until golden brown.
Ingredients

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lbs)
- 6 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, lemon juice, pineapple juice, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Add chicken breasts and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Sear each breast for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
- Remove chicken from skillet; pour remaining marinade into the pan and simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Slice chicken against the grain, drizzle with sauce, and garnish with green onions.
Notes
- For best flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
- Serve with rice or noodles to soak up the sauce.
