Description

Delicious breakfast sandwiches made with croissants, eggs, cheese, and ham.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 croissants, sliced in half
  • 8 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices deli ham
  • 6 large eggs
  • ⅓ cup whole milk
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Optional add-ins: sautéed spinach, sautéed mushrooms, avocado slices, hot sauce, Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until combined.
  3. Heat a greased skillet over medium-high heat and pour in egg mixture.
  4. Cook eggs gently, stirring with a spatula until nearly set.
  5. Stir in shredded mozzarella and cook until melted, then remove from heat.
  6. Place croissant bottoms on a baking sheet.
  7. Add one slice of ham and one slice of cheddar to each croissant.
  8. Spoon scrambled eggs over the cheese.
  9. Top with croissant tops and gently press down.
  10. Bake for 10 minutes until cheese is melted and croissants are lightly crisp.
  11. Serve warm.
