Description

Deliciously soft and chewy cookies filled with creamy peanut butter and chocolate chips.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Dutch process cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare the peanut butter filling by mixing peanut butter, powdered sugar, and ground cinnamon until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. In a large bowl, combine melted butter with brown and white sugars; mix until well combined.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix until incorporated.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips gently.
  7. Scoop dough, flatten slightly, place a tablespoon of peanut butter filling in the center, fold over, and roll into a ball.
  8. Bake on parchment-lined sheets for about 12–15 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  9. Cool on racks before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, refrigerate the dough for about 30 minutes before baking to help the cookies hold their shape.
