- 1 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup honey or maple syrup
- ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the peanut butter and honey/maple syrup together in 20-second intervals until smooth.
- Stir in oats, salt, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and press evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown around the edges.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.
